Henan to Impose Off-peak Production in Winter Heating Season

From 15^th Nov 2017 to 15^th Mar 2018, Henan Province will restrict production in heavily-polluting industries during winter heating season. Off-peak production will be imposed in coking, steel, foundry, building materials industries etc. Aiming to reduce emissions.

In the past five months, companies were facing the toughest ever action in China's environmental protection history. Over 40,000 companies in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei and nearby regions visited by the inspection team.

XRD Graphite's announcement came after an urgent notice will suspend production during this period. The analysts estimated the company's graphite production capacity shall be slashed by 50% next year.
